Earlier today (5PM EDT), the President of the United States called for schools to reopen AND stated that they plan to provide $105 Billion in funds to do so. This is GREAT news, but not the ‘best’. The Best news? Several of our ‘plans and concepts’ have been accepted and will become part of the legislation – namely substitute teacher first aid and emergency training.
Now comes the fun part – lobbying at the state and local levels to get the money to the right spots – while making things safe for us also! I want to go back to work – this is the highway to follow
